Note . . . Booking Airfare

When purchasing flights students should consider the cost of having to change or cancel their flights due to unforeseen travel issues.

The airline will charge you the difference in fare between the old and new tickets. Generally, if you purchase a full-fare ticket instead of a restricted or discounted ticket, you will have more options and pay less fees when it comes to making changes.

It is recommended that students book a refundable ticket or purchase travel insurance that will help cover the cost of changes in travel plans.
