Be a part of an artist retreat in the Italian countryside! We will explore Etruscan, Medieval and Renaissance art and history in the hill towns of Perugia, Assisi and Orvieto, learn how maiolica ceramics are made from the masters in Deruta, experience local culture at the Festa dei Ceri in Gubbio, trace the Piero della Francesca trail through Tuscany, and have the opportunity to enjoy plenty of local specialties: pizza, pasta, gelato, truffles and even wild boar! Adventures in the morning will be followed by work on individual projects in the evenings at our home in the Italian countryside.
