Fairytale Europe: Creative Writing in Austria & Germany

Join us for a magical 14-day journey through fairytale Europe! Study European folklore and the fairytales of the Brothers Grimm—then visit the enchanting sites of their origin. We’ll go “into the woods” to explore the inspiration for tales such as a Hansel and Gretel, Snow White, and Little Red Riding Hood. We’ll visit magnificent palaces and castles fit for any Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty. Program highlights include the Brothers Grimm House, Fairytale House Neukirchen, the "dream castles" of Neuschwanstein (models for Disney's Cinderella Castle), Linderhof and Schönbrunn Palaces, the Sound of Music tour, and much, much more. Experience Germany and Austria’s breathtaking landscapes and architectural wonders and fall under their spell. Find inspiration for your own stories and poems and create your own “once-upon-a-time” on this epic journey to the place where dreams and fairytales come to true!
